After a month waiting, I got my new $ony VAIO P15/Q (why Q means black?) last night, finally… (Sorry no picture right now)
Actually, I’v already evaluated this stuff during Chinese new years vacation in $ony $tore, and found keyboard/screen size is ok for me. Its size/weight is much better than my previous machines (Asus S200N, Kohjinsha, EeePC which stayed in Fiji, …)
My next step is, to install Windows XP on it. It’s really strange NO related downgrade info on the net in English for a long while, but somebody in Japan already made it in January!
So, black iPhone, black VAIO, what will be my next black gadget? :)
get the new Canon black Ixus 100 digital camera! It’s my next black gadget after those 2 that i got the same as u did! have u downgraded the vaio P15/Q to Windows XP yet? does the generic drivers work for the computer? or after downgrading, the computer will not functtion with the wireless, webcam and bluetooth? if u know where to download the correct drivers, please tell me. thx! goodluckztome@yahoo.com.hk

yes, VAIO P15/Q downgraded to XP successfully :)
hi there,
i also updated my P15 to windows xp and so far working smoothly. however i got problem with the bluetooth and for the mouse pointing can only move but cant do the click.
do you have this same issue with your downgrade to xp? if not please inform me where to download the bluetooth driver pleaseee..
